• Brake fluid leaks: See brake fluid under your car? That’s a bad sign, always. The brake system is a closed hydraulic system, so the fluid should never find its way out.
• Dashboard warning light: Most modern vehicles have a warning light on the dashboard when the car detects an issue with the braking system. If that warning light comes on, getting your car to a mechanic as soon as possible is important.
